Welcome to Michael Goodhart Photography! The images you'll find here are from US Pacific Northwest, the Canadian Rockies, and various points elsewhere in the world. All photographs are available for purchase in the gallery. To the right is a photograph of the horizon while I was making my way (by vehicle) up the majestic Mount Rainier. The dark blue shade of the sky had brought my camera reflex into gear. Color is probably one of the simplest but vital reflections of the beauty that can be captured in a photograph. The lines to the right are from a poem called "Blue" that I wrote several years ago. Be free to take your shoes off and wander around here for a bit! |

2/9/08 Update: Now that I have successfully shown my first photography exhibit, I am looking into new locations to show my work. Also, I am hoping to make a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains in southwestern Virginia in mid-March to capture some of the beautiful landscapes in the region. |
