Zooming in a little closer to the Needles of Cannon Beach, one can see a seagull gliding behind the rocks on the right horizon of this photograph.  In the tone of sepia, this image has more of a nostalgic flavor of it.  Indeed, this photograph was taken during a trip along the Oregon coast just before I did a job interview for the one I hold now in Massachusetts.  So this was one of the last photographs I took before leaving the Pacific Northwest.
